Gainesville, FL – One Killed in Deadly Accident on Hawthorne Rd

A man lost his life in a fatal collision in Gainesville on Wednesday morning, April 2. According to information provided by deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s office, the collision occurred at 3600 Southeast Hawthorne Road. Responders with Alachua County Fire Rescue responded to the scene shortly after the crash occurred to assist those involved. One man, who has not been identified, lost his life in the accident. Traffic was diverted in both directions through Southeast 43rd and Southeast 35th Street. Police in Gainesville continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
