Florida Semi-Truck Accidents

Car accidents can occur in an instant and often leave a lasting impact. Florida ranks among the most hazardous states in the nation for motor vehicle collisions, with over 1,000 crashes happening every single day. These accidents injure hundreds of thousands and take the lives of more than 3,000 individuals annually.

Among the most catastrophic types of traffic collisions are those involving semi-trucks. Though they make up just about 6% of reported accidents nationwide, large truck crashes result in over 5,000 deaths each year. These massive vehicles—sometimes weighing 25 times more than a passenger car—can cause devastating damage in an instant.

The root cause behind most auto accidents? Driver negligence. Dangerous behaviors like distracted driving, impairment, drowsiness, and speeding are behind up to 99% of crashes in the U.S. If you’ve been hurt due to someone else’s recklessness, you may be entitled to compensation for a variety of damages, including medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more.

If you or a loved one were injured in a crash in Florida, the road to recovery shouldn’t come with the burden of financial stress. Medical treatment alone can cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on the severity of your injuries.

There is nothing more painful than losing a loved one unexpectedly. During this heartbreaking time, you deserve to grieve and heal without the added weight of financial uncertainty. Filing a wrongful death claim can provide compensation for funeral expenses, lost income, and other related losses, so you and your family can focus on emotional recovery.
